We are working with a growing NewSpace technology company developing on-board AI and edge computing solutions for satellite missions enabling spacecraft to process, analyse and act on data directly in orbit.

The result? Smarter satellites, less reliance on downlink capacity and faster, more autonomous decisions in space.

As the company continues to grow, we're looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to help ensure the technology being sent into orbit is ready for the environments, customers and missions that depend upon it.

The Opportunity

This isn't about joining a huge PA department and inheriting one small piece of an established process.

You'll work closely with engineering teams across satellite systems, electronics, software and AI/ML, taking ownership of Product Assurance activities across multiple programmes.

You'll be involved throughout the lifecycle from early development and design reviews through verification, qualification, acceptance, delivery and ultimately technologies operating in orbit.

As the company grows, you'll also have the opportunity to influence how Product Assurance is done as the organisation scales.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading Product Assurance activities across satellite technology programmes

• Developing PA plans and ensuring compliance with ECSS and customer requirements

• Supporting SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QR and acceptance reviews

• Supporting verification, validation and qualification activities

• Managing NCRs, RFDs, RFWs and anomalies

• Supporting risk and reliability activities including FMEA/FMECA

• Working with suppliers and subcontractors on quality and corrective actions

• Maintaining configuration, traceability and documentation throughout the product lifecycle

• Working alongside teams developing hardware, electronics, software and AI-enabled space technology

• Helping evolve the Product Assurance framework as the organisation grows

Who We're Looking For

You'll ideally bring 4+ years of relevant professional experience, including exposure to satellite, spacecraft, payload or other space technology programmes.

Most importantly, we're looking for ECSS experience, knowledge of design reviews, V&V, qualification and acceptance, and the confidence to work directly with engineering teams.

Experience with Earth Observation, satellite payloads, embedded systems, software PA, on-board processing or AI/ML would be particularly valuable.
